Electric Power Laos State Enterprise (EFL) has signed a cooperation agreement for the “Cyber Security Operation Center: CSOC” project with OLV Innovation Company Limited.
The signing ceremony for the project was held on February 16, 2026 in Vientiane Capital between Mr. Souliya Manivong, Deputy Director General of EFL and Mr. Monta Voramalith, President of OLV, along with relevant parties from both parties.
The CSOC project is considered an important strategic step in the Digital Transformation era in which EFL has transformed its management to a digital system, which requires dealing with new types of cyber threats. In addition, this CSOC center will act as a state-of-the-art “guardhouse and command tower” to monitor, detect and respond to threats 24 hours a day, which is an urgent need to create security for the national infrastructure system.
The establishment of the CSOC center this time will build confidence among the public and investors, both domestic and foreign, that the system of EDL is stable, safe and reliable at par with the international standards. It also confirms EFL’s vision of advancing into the digital era under the motto of ICT work: “Modern, stable and safe”.
