Vientiane Capital, September 26, 2025 – The Lao Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a warning for Tropical Storm Boualoi, predicting heavy rainfall, flooding and landslides across the country.
Tropical Storm Boualoi is expected to hit Laos from September 28 to 30, 2025.
Strong winds are expected in some areas of Laos, causing moderate to heavy thunderstorms across the country, with some areas experiencing thunderstorms and strong winds during this period.
The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has also issued a warning about the risk of flash floods and landslides during this period, urging the public and local authorities to be vigilant and prepared for heavy rainfall that could continue for several days, which could cause danger.
