UOB reported that the Vietnamese economy significantly exceeded expectations, despite risks from US tariffs.
With growth of 7.85% in the first three quarters of 2025, the overall economic outlook remains positive. Consequently, UOB has lowered its growth forecast for Vietnam from 7.5% to 7.7%.
Conversely, UOB also anticipates that Vietnam will face significant challenges towards the end of the year due to trade and tariff tensions. Therefore, UOB maintains its Q4 2025 economic growth forecast at 7.2%.
