EDF Lao to provide over $1.3 million in funding for education improvement project in 4 southern provinces of Laos
The project targets 4 provinces: Khammouane, Savannakhet, Sekong and Saravane in Phase IV with a project budget of $1,352,560
On December 19, 2025, the Ministry of Education and Sports and the Education Development Fund (EDF Lao) signed a project to improve and support education for secondary school students in 4 southern provinces of Laos
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Sengsaden Bounlavong, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Sports, and Dr. Khamhien Inthava, President of the Education Development Fund in Lao PDR.
